Terms and Conditions:
- Full payment is due before I begin your portrait.
- I work on a first come first served basis. If you have a specific date you would like
your portrait completed, please read on for turnaround times.
- I offer a 100% satisfaction guarantee. During the painting process, I will send you
periodic stages of your painting to ensure you are completely satisfied with the
progress. This will allow us to work together, so you may guide me to create the
perfect painting. Because you will be able to watch the progress and give me input,
I cannot return any balances paid. You are ordering a custom painting which takes
time and effort. You will be able to view your final painting before I send it to you,
and I will work hard to make sure you are completely satisfied.
- Your name, e-mail, phone number, address and any other private information will
never be shared with anyone else. Only your name will appear in any testimonial I
may ask of you, and only with your consent. All finished paintings will appear on
my gallery pages of this website.
- I own all copyrights to the artwork on this website, as well as all commissioned
work. Although you may own the finished painting, you may not reproduce any of
my work without written consent.
- Shipping is not included in the cost of the portrait. When you are completely
satisfied with your painting, I will then send you an e-mail with the shipping
charges. When I receive your payment I will ship your portrait through UPS. When
I package your painting, I do so with great care and attention. I also insure each
package which will be included in your final shipping charges. If there is any
damage when you receive your portrait, you must make a claim with UPS; I cannot
be responsible for any damages that may occur during shipping.
- Payments made by personal checks or cashier's checks.
Pricing
- Pricing is determined by the complexity of the painting, the number of subjects,
and overall size. I can work in just about any size you desire, however to maintain
finest detail and quality, I do not offer sizes over 16 x 20 in oils and 11 x 14 in
gouache.
- Generally, my portraits do not have backgrounds. If you would like a background,
there may be an additional fee depending on the complexity. Once more, this is
detail we can work out during our consultation.
- There will be an additional fee for each additional subject in the same portrait.
Turn around time:
- Oil paintings generally take 2 - 4 months depending on current commission
workload. An oil painting also needs an appropriate time for drying; I can send your
painting only as soon as it has completely dried.
- Gouache paintings generally take 1 - 2 months depending on current commission
workload.
- Charcoal and pencil generally take 2 - 4 weeks depending on current commission

tunity to paint or draw your portrait.
